After an entire year, she was given the lead part. In 2002, Canadian reviewers praised her performance during 92 performances of the play. Contractor was offered the opportunity to join Stratford's conservatory course, in which the top eight men and four women are accepted for a course lasting 20 weeks on the classical stage that she eagerly took. Contractor got a place in the following season of productions and was offered the role in the role of Hermia as Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
